Job summary

A matric and a tertiary qualification in operations management are preferred, plus knowledge of Paltrack and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Matric or equivalent required.
• Degree/diploma in operations management preferred.
• Minimum 10 years in production/warehouse/cold storage.
• Minimum 5 years in a similar role.
• Fruit export experience advantageous.
• Driver's license required.
• Able to work in cold temperatures and after-hours when needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all cold store operations, focusing on cost management.
• Book staff to meet planned daily targets.
• Maintain exceptional housekeeping standards.
• Identify and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure all operational equipment is in good working order.
• Manage staff across a 3-shift, 24/7 operation.
• Lead and develop staff with emphasis on training and safety compliance.
