Job summary

The role requires 3–5 years supervisory experience in warehouse/logistics, Matric, forklift license, strong safety focus, and good communication; weekend/public holiday shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Matric.
• Experience in a warehouse, cold storage, or logistics environment.
• Experience in the cold storage of fruit is preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as a supervisor.
• Valid forklift license.
• Ability to manage a team and work under pressure
• Strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
• Good communication and organisational skill

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations including unloading, storage and loading of fruit pallets.
• Lead and manage a team on shift; conduct pre-shift meetings and safety briefings.
• Ensure safety, hygiene and food handling regulations are followed.
• Identify ways to improve workflow, reduce delays, and increase productivity.
• Keep records of daily activities, stock, and incidents; report on shift performance.
