Job summary

AECOM SA is seeking a Principal Project Manager - Multidisciplinary in Durban to lead day-to-day project management across complex projects and programmes. You will oversee teams, drive technical excellence, and engage in business development activities.

The role requires substantial post-graduate experience in built environment fields, registration or certification in project management, and leadership across multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Evidence of advanced project management education and postgraduate experience in built environment fields.
• Formal registrations or certifications related to project management are required or preferred.
• Experience with multi-project leadership and complex programmes across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Undertakes full day to day Project Management role on a range of complex projects or on a small programme of projects or running a significant component of a major project or programme of projects.
• Directs internal team and project management activities and participates in business development.
• Provides technical leadership for larger and more complex project and programme teams and mentors staff.

Education

Honours degree in built environment field of study

B-Tech degree in built environment field of study

National Higher Diploma in built environment field of study

National Diploma in built environment field of study

Tertiary qualification in Project Management
