Placements24 seeks a seasoned Construction Project Manager for major port infrastructure projects in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal. You will oversee planning, execution, and handover, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and upholding strict safety and quality standards.

Lead multi-disciplinary teams, manage risks, and engage stakeholders across regulatory bodies and suppliers to deliver critical maritime infrastructure enhancements. A strong background in large-scale projects is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Master's degree is an advantage for seniority.
• Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in construction project management, with large-scale infrastructure focus.

Responsabilités

• Develop and manage detailed project plans with scope, budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for port infrastructure projects.
• Oversee all construction phases from procurement and site management to QA and project closeout.
• Coordinate with internal teams, external contractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
• Ensure adherence to HSEQ standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Manage project finances, including budget control and cost forecasting.
• Lead and motivate project teams and conduct progress meetings.
• Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
