About the Role Our client is seeking a highly experienced and compassionate Lead Nanny and Childcare Coordinator for their esteemed household in Centurion, Gauteng. This is a demanding but rewarding role that requires an individual with exceptional childcare skills, leadership qualities, and a proactive approach to managing a small team of domestic staff focused on children's well-being. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily care, education, and developmental activities of the children, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment. This role involves hands‑on childcare duties as well as coordinating schedules, activities, and the work of other nannies or domestic helpers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing childcare responsibilities within a private residence and possess a strong understanding of child development stages and best practices. The focus is on providing a structured yet flexible routine that supports each child's unique needs and promotes their holistic growth within the Centurion area. This position requires a candidate who is deeply committed to fostering a positive and secure upbringing for the children.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct, high‑quality childcare for children of various ages, including feeding, bathing, dressing, and supervision.
• Develop and implement engaging age‑appropriate educational and recreational activities.
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children.
• Manage children's daily schedules, including school runs, appointments, and extracurricular activities.
• Oversee and coordinate the work of other nannies and domestic staff involved in childcare.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Nanny, preferably with experience in a supervisory or lead role.
• Demonstrated understanding of child development milestones and age‑appropriate care.
• Excellent childcare skills, including patience, creativity, and responsibility.
• Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.
• Ability to create and implement structured daily routines and educational activities.
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification are mandatory.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with parents and staff.
• Clean criminal record and background check.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Centurion area.
