Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Admin, Law, or related field.
• 7+ years in insurance claims adjusting, with 2+ years in leadership.
• Deep knowledge of Property, Casualty, Auto, Life lines.
• Strong claims investigation, negotiation, and settlement skills.
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
• Proficient in claims management software and MS Office.
• Able to handle complex/sensitive claims with empathy.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Tembisa region.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of insurance claims adjusters.
• Manage a caseload of complex and high-value claims from initiation to settlement.
• Conduct investigations, negotiate settlements, and authorize payments.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Develop strategies to improve claims processing efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Train new adjusters and provide ongoing professional development for the team.
• Liaise with legal counsel, external adjusters, and other stakeholders on claim matters.
