Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in insurance claims adjustment.
• 3+ years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Extensive knowledge across property, casualty, liability, and auto claims.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of claims adjusters, providing guidance on case management.
• Investigate, evaluate, and negotiate complex insurance claims for timely resolutions.
• Develop and implement best practices and standardized claims procedures.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews of claims files for accuracy and compliance.
• Analyze claims data to identify trends, fraud indicators, and risk mitigation opportunities.
• Collaborate with legal counsel and external experts to resolve challenging claims.
• Manage relationships with policyholders, claimants, and third-party providers.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry trends in claims management.
• Prepare detailed reports on activity, performance, and metrics for senior management.
• Contribute to claims department strategy and budget planning.
