About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Geoscientist to spearhead exploration and production initiatives within their energy division, based in Rustenburg . This senior position requires a visionary leader to guide subsurface interpretation and modeling efforts, identifying and evaluating new energy resources. You will be responsible for integrating diverse geological and geophysical data to build robust subsurface models, driving strategic decisions for exploration, appraisal, and development projects. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in seismic interpretation, well correlation, and basin analysis, fostering a collaborative environment and mentoring junior geoscientists.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage geological and geophysical studies for exploration and field development projects.
