Job summary
Placements24 is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical installation and maintenance activities for projects in and around Paarl. You will lead a team of electricians, coordinate daily tasks, and ensure work meets safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years in electrical installation and supervision, with strong leadership and the ability to interpret complex diagrams.
Qualifications
- Qualified Electrician with a trade certificate or diploma.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical installation and supervision.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, wiring and safety procedures.
- Ability to read and understand complex electrical diagrams and specifications.
- Strong understanding of health and safety legislation in construction or industrial sector.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and guide a team of electricians and technicians on project sites.
- Ensure all electrical work is performed safely and in accordance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications to guide installation and repair activities.
- Monitor work progress, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical solutions to the team.
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure all safety equipment is utilized correctly.
- Coordinate with project managers and site engineers to manage resources and timelines effectively.
