Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve revenue and profitability goals for the medical spa in Cape Town .
• Oversee daily operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, client flow, and facility maintenance.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of aestheticians, therapists, and support staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and regulatory standards in accordance with South African regulations.
• Curate and innovate service menus, staying ahead of industry trends and client demands in the luxury wellness sector.
• Manage marketing initiatives and client retention programs to drive customer acquisition and loyalty.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating contracts and managing procurement.
• Act as a brand ambassador for the spa, representing its values and commitment to exceptional client care.

Requirements

• A recognized qualification in Cosmetology, Beauty Therapy, or a related field is mandatory.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in the beauty and wellness industry, with at least 3 years in a management or directorial role, preferably within a medical spa setting.
• Proven track record in business development, financial management, and operational oversight.
• In-depth knowledge of a wide range of aesthetic treatments, skincare, and wellness modalities.
