The ideal candidate has over 10 years in construction PM, a civil/related qualification, and a proven track record on projects valued at R50 million or more.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of progressive experience in project management within construction/infrastructure.
• Experience managing projects valued at R50 million or more.
• Professional qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Knowledge of South Africa building codes and regulatory requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Aufgaben

• Manage the full lifecycle of large-scale construction and infrastructure projects, ensuring successful execution and delivery.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, resource plans, and budgets, proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks.
• Oversee contractor and supplier performance, ensuring adherence to contract specifications and quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings to monitor project status and address on-site challenges promptly.
• Liaise with all stakeholders, including clients, government authorities, engineers, and community representatives, to ensure seamless project progression.
• Implement and enforce stringent health, safety, and environmental protocols throughout all project phases.
