RPO Recruitment is seeking an experienced Construction Foreman for a reputable client in Cape Town to lead residential and commercial projects. You will oversee daily site operations, interpret drawings, and coordinate subcontractors to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a solid understanding of site safety procedures. Salary is negotiable based on experience and project scope.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Construction Foreman in residential and/or commercial projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong leadership and communication to manage teams and subcontractors.
• In-depth knowledge of site safety procedures and regulations.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Trade qualification or certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations on construction sites (residential and/or commercial).
• Interpret and work from construction drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, site staff, and deliveries.
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Monitor progress and ensure project deadlines and milestones are met.
• Report regularly to project managers and senior site staff.
