RPO Recruitment's client in Cape Town is seeking an experienced Senior Building Foreman to oversee on-site construction activities on multiple projects. The role requires managing labour, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure productivity and quality.

Applicants should have a National Diploma in Building and extensive foreman experience on multi-storey developments, with strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Western Cape residency is preferred.

Qualifications

• National Diploma in Building or similar qualification.
• Extensive experience as Senior Foreman on building projects.
• Experience on multi-storey residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and programmes.
• Based in Western Cape with knowledge of local contractors and suppliers.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities.
• Manage subcontractors and labour teams to ensure productivity and quality workmanship.
• Ensure work is completed according to programme and project specifications.
• Monitor health and safety compliance on site.
• Conduct site inspections and maintain quality standards.
• Liaise with Site Agents, Project Managers, consultants, and suppliers.
• Assist with planning, scheduling, and resolving on-site challenges.
