Responsabilidades

• Lead conceptualization and development of architectural designs for a variety of building typologies.
• Manage and mentor design teams, fostering a collaborative remote work culture.
• Ensure design integrity, quality, and compliance with building codes and regulations, including SA standards.
• Oversee production of detailed architectural drawings, BIM models, and technical documentation.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and contractors in a virtual setting.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Master's degree in Architecture or equivalent professional qualification.
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in architectural design and project leadership.
• Demonstrated experience in leading design teams and managing complex projects.
• Exceptional proficiency in architectural design software, including BIM platforms (Revit), AutoCAD, and visualization tools.
• A strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and building systems.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, adapted for remote collaboration.
• Proven ability to think critically, solve complex problems, and make sound design decisions.
• Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment is highly desirable.
• Professional registration with the South African Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP) or equivalent is required.
• Ability to articulate design intent and rationale clearly and concisely in a virtual context.
