Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
• Over 10 years in software architecture and design with at least 5 years in blockchain.
• Deep expertise in Hyperledger Fabric, Ethereum, Corda and consensus mechanisms.
• Proven record delivering large-scale enterprise blockchain solutions.
• Strong cryptography, security practices and network protocols.
• Experience in smart contract languages (Solidity, Go, Java).
• Excellent leadership and ability to mentor technical teams.
• Based in George, Western Cape or willing to relocate.

Requirements

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent extensive experience.
• 10+ years of experience in software architecture and design, with a minimum of 5 years dedicated to blockchain technology and distributed systems.
• Deep expertise in various blockchain platforms (e.g., Hyperledger Fabric, Ethereum, Corda) and their underlying consensus mechanisms.
• Proven experience in architecting and delivering large-scale enterprise blockchain solutions.
• Strong knowledge of cryptography, security best practices, and network protocols.
• Familiarity with smart contract development and associated languages (e.g., Solidity, Go, Java).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and drive technical decisions.
• Experience in managing and mentoring technical teams.
• Ability to work effectively in a challenging, fast-paced environment in George, Western Cape.
