Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related analytical science field.
• Minimum of 7 years hands-on experience in analytical biochemistry with focus on method development and validation.
• Proficiency with a broad range of analytical instrumentation and software.
• Thorough understanding of QA/QC principles in a laboratory setting.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem solving, communication, and documentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced biochemical analyses using techniques such as HPLC, GC-MS, spectroscopy, and immunoassay.
• Develop, validate, and optimize new analytical methods and protocols according to industry standards.
• Interpret complex analytical data, troubleshoot instrumentation issues, and ensure data integrity.
• Manage laboratory quality control systems, ensuring compliance with relevant accreditations (e.g., ISO).
• Provide technical training and guidance to junior biochemists and laboratory personnel.
• Liaise with clients to understand their analytical needs and provide expert consultation.
