Job summary

Silversea Cruises seeks an experienced Head Bartender to deliver high-quality beverage service across ship outlets. You will supervise bar operations, train crew, and promote premium spirits and cigars while maintaining stock levels and engaging with guests to maximize satisfaction.

The role requires STCW95 certification, cruise-head bartender experience, and strong leadership with excellent English communication. Extensive knowledge of wines, liquors, and public health standards is essential.

Qualifications

Excellent knowledge of American bar service.
Excellent knowledge of wines, liquors, brandies, ports etc.
Knowledge of Public Health policies and procedures.
Physically and medically fit.

Responsibilities

Oversee beverage service to guests in all bar outlets and ensure timely, courteous service.
Keep bars open and operational as per schedule; maintain Silversea standard bar list on tables.
Organize and lead training sessions for bar team to develop knowledge, techniques and guest focus.
Manage bar stock, inventories and orders; coordinate with Hotel Stores Manager for durables.
Lead crew, supervise schedule and ensure safety, sanitation and compliance with health policies.
