Sydsen Group (Pty) Ltd in Stellenbosch seeks an experienced Parts Manager to lead the Parts Department at a premium automotive dealership. You will oversee daily operations, stock control and parts sales while driving profitability and delivering exceptional customer service.

The role requires strong leadership, a track record in stock management, and expertise with DMS systems; the successful candidate will develop the parts team and ensure optimal availability for workshops and customers.

Formación

• Matric (Grade 12) is required.
• Minimum 5 years in automotive parts within a franchised dealership.
• Minimum 3 years in a Parts Department leadership role.
• Experience with stock control, stocktakes and inventory accuracy.
• Strong understanding of budgets, sales targets and gross profit management.
• Proficient with a Dealer Management System (DMS) such as CDK, Autoline or Kerridge.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Strong leadership and customer service skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage daily operations of the Parts Department.
• Lead and develop the parts team to hit targets.
• Oversee inventory management, stocktakes and obsolete stock.
• Ensure timely and accurate parts availability for workshop and customers.
• Manage supplier relationships, procurement, backorders and returns.
• Drive retail, trade and wholesale parts sales.
• Monitor budgets, gross profit, sales targets and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards and warranty procedures.
• Maintain excellent customer service and resolve queries effectively.
• Implement effective stock control measures to minimize losses.
