Boardroom Appointments seeks a Lead Application Developer to design and deliver enterprise solutions using Oracle/Java.

Responsibilities include developing Java/.Net apps, supporting the team, and ensuring SDLC/ALM compliance with proper documentation and troubleshooting of issues.

Requirements: 5+ years as an application developer; Oracle PL/SQL/APEX; HTML/CSS; Oracle Database; source control proficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as an application developer.
• Experience with Oracle PL/SQL and/or APEX.
• Proficiency in HTML and CSS.
• Experience with Oracle Database and stored procedures.
• Proficient in source code management applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop high‑level applications using Java and .Net Framework.
• Provide technical support to team members and troubleshoot issues.
• Design, develop and deploy programs from specifications.
• Construct and implement application programs.
• Construct/develop programs including coding, testing and debugging.
• Ensure documentation of code/classes.
• Design application prototypes.
• Coordinate application plans with the development team or client.
• Adhere to SDLC/ALM methodologies and processes.
• Design, develop and deploy eLearning solutions meeting department needs.

About the job Lead Application Developer - Oracle/Java

Contract position

• Tertiary qualification in Computer Science and/or Software Engineering and/or Information Systems and/or Information technology/or related technical certification in an IT field and /or International Data engineering Qualification
• Minimum of 5 years experience as an application developer working with:
• Oracle PL/SQL and/or APEX
• HTML AND CSS
• Oracle Database and stored procedures
• Proficient in source code management applications

Responsibilities:

• You'll be responsible for the development of high-level applications using Java and .Net Framework
• You will also provide technical support to other members of the team by helping them troubleshoot issues with their application software
• Design, develop, and deploy programs from program specifications
• Construct and implement application program
