Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a Lead Application Developer (Full Stack Microsoft.Net) based in Cape Town. The role focuses on designing, building and deploying robust .NET applications across client projects.

You will work within the SDLC/ALM framework, mentor teammates, and ensure code quality and documentation while delivering eLearning and enterprise solutions to meet the department's needs.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Computer Science and/or Software Engineering and/or Information Systems and/or Information Technology and/or Technical Certification in an IT field.
• Minimum of 10 years experience as an application developer.
• Experience with ASP.NET, Web Forms, MVC 5 & C#; HTML and CSS; Angular; SharePoint 2010; SSIS/SSAS/SSRS; SQL Server and stored procedures.
• Familiarity with versioning software and source code management applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy programs for program specifications.
• Construct and implement application programs.
• Construct/develop programs including coding, testing and debugging.
• Ensure documentation of code/classes.
• Designing application prototypes.
• Coordinate application plans with the development team or clients.
• Adhere to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and ALM methodologies and processes.
• Design, develop and deploy eLearning solutions that meet department needs and optimize efficacy through training and support.
