Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a Senior Application Developer (Microsoft .Net) in Cape Town to design, develop and deploy software aligned with program specifications. You will work on ASP.NET technologies, HTML/CSS, Angular and SharePoint 2010 within a structured SDLC/ALM environment.

The role requires 7+ years in application development, strong SQL Server skills (SSIS/SSAS/SSRS) and solid experience with source control systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years experience as an application developer.
• Experience with ASP.NET, Web Forms, MVC 5 & C#.
• HTML and CSS, Angular.
• SharePoint 2010.
• SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS.
• Microsoft SQL Server stored procedures.
• Versioning software and source code management applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy programs for program specifications.
• Construct and implement application programs.
• Construct/ develop programs including coding, testing and debugging.
• Ensure documentation of code/classes.
• Designing application prototypes.
• Coordinate application plans with the development team or clients.
• Adhere to Software development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) methodologies and processes.
• Design, develop and deploy eLearning solutions that meet the Departments needs and optimize efficacy through training and support.

Education

• Tertiary qualification in Computer Science and/or Software Engineering and/or Information Systems and/or Information Technology and/or Technical Certification in an IT field
• Minimum of 7 years experience as an application developer working with:
