Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a Senior Applications Developer to design, develop and deploy Oracle-based solutions within an SDLC/ALM framework.

The role requires strong skills in HTML5, CSS, Oracle PL/SQL/APEX and Oracle Database, with proven experience in building and debugging complex applications and collaborating with clients and teams.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Computer Science and/or Software Engineering and/or Information Systems and/or Information Technology and/or related IT certification
• Minimum of 7 years experience as an application developer
• Experience with HTML5 and CSS
• Experience with Oracle PL/SQL and/or APEX
• Experience with Oracle Database and stored procedures
• Proficient in Source Code Management applications

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy programs for programs specifications
• Construct and implement application programs
• Construct/ develop programs including coding, testing and debugging
• Ensure documentation of code/classes
• Designing application prototypes
• Coordinate application plans with the development team or clients
• Adhere to WCG Software development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) methodologies and processes
• Design, develop and deploy eLearning solutions that meet the Departments needs and optimize efficacy through training and support

Contract position

• Minimum of 7 years experience as an application developer working with:
• HTML 5 and CSS
• Oracle PL/SQL and/or APEX
• Oracle Database and stored procedures
• Proficient in Source Code Management applications
