Job summary

Helderberg Personnel is seeking an engineer with a passion for understanding machinery and solving real-world technical challenges. You will consult with engineers and industrial clients, recommend solutions, and support product selection with technical quotations.

You will engage with precision measurement equipment, sensors and automation technologies while building strong customer relationships and pursuing new opportunities.

Qualifications

• Diploma, Advanced Diploma, BTech, BEng or BSc Engineering qualification in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, Instrumentation or a related discipline.
• Strong technical aptitude and an interest in industrial automation, sensors and precision engineering.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements:

• Confidence to engage with engineers and other technical professionals.
• Self-motivated, inquisitive and eager to develop specialist expertise.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Previous experience in industrial automation, instrumentation or technical sales will be advantageous but is not essential.
