Job summary

CIRO Full Service Beverage Company (Pty) Ltd in South Africa is seeking a Junior Storeman to support day-to-day operations in the stores, with a focus on accurate inventory control and timely handling of spares.

You will work under the Spares Team Leader, manage SAP stock movements, receive spares, dispatch to regions and technicians, perform regular cycle counts, and maintain orderly storage locations while ensuring documentation and Excel/MS Office readiness.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year’s experience in SAP Stock Control.
• Strong technical knowledge will be advantageous.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Proficient in MS Office with a good understanding of Microsoft Excel and related applications.
• Good knowledge and understanding of stock control and inventory processes.
• Grade 12 / Matric essential.
• Minimum 2 years working experience in a stores and spares environment.

Responsibilities

• Receiving: Receiving of spares both International and local according to SOP.
• Dispatch: Issuing spares to regions and cross border agents on time and accurately; ensure correct item code and quantity are transferred to storage locations.
• Stock and Cycle counts: Regular pre-quarterly counts; bi-annual stock counts; maintain bin locations in SAP; monitor low/out of stock items; daily housekeeping.
• Reporting and Administration: File technician transfers; place consumables orders weekly; periodic orders for consumables and local suppliers.

An exciting opportunity exists for a Junior Storeman to assist with day to day operational duties in the stores and activities related to accurate inventory control.

Line Manager: Spares Team Leader

Receiving

• Receiving of spares both International and local according to detailed standard operating procedure (SOP)
• Ensuring all invoice queries are identified and reported to the Spares Team Leader.

Dispatch

• Ensuring that the issuing of spares to regions and cross border agents is done on time and accurately.
• Ensuring that the issuing of all spares to the Road Technicians is done daily. Ensure that the correct Item code and quantity versus the original request is correctly transferred to the correct storage locations.
• Ensure that the issuing of spares to the Workshop Technicians is consumed immediately and captured on the Job Card provided by the Technician.
• Creating and pre-packing of installation kits.

Stock and Cycle counts

• Ensure that regular pre-quarterly counts are done prior to quarterly stock counts.
• Accurate bi-annual stock counts must be completed.
• Bin locations to be maintained on SAP.
• Monitor and report low stock and Out of stock items as well as special projects.
• Ensure constant daily housekeeping.

Reporting and Administration

• All technicians transfers to be filed and captured in daily folders.
• Consumable orders to be placed weekly with the Team leader.
• Periodically place orders for consumables and local suppliers when need be.

Knowledge Required

• Minimum 1 year’s experience in SAP Stock Control.
• Strong technical knowledge will be advantageous.
• Sound understanding of coffee machine spares and components.
• Good knowledge and understanding of stock control and inventory processes.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Proficient in MS Office with a good understanding of Microsoft Excel and related applications.
