Qualifications

• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and repair commercial coffee machines.
• Diagnose faults in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and software-related systems.
• Calibrate, programme and test coffee machines for optimal performance.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine servicing.
• Respond to service calls within SLA timeframes.
• Maintain vehicle stock levels and submit stock orders as needed.
• Complete job cards and service documentation accurately.
• Conduct weekly vehicle inspections and maintain tools/equipment.
• Provide professional customer service and build client relationships.
• Maintain high safety, cleanliness and workmanship standards.

Coffee Machine Technician

Location: Pinetown, KwaZulu-Natal

Salary: R8 000 – R10 450 CTC per month

About the Opportunity

Our client, a leading supplier and service provider of commercial beverage equipment, is looking for a Coffee Machine Technician to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, servicing, repair and preventative maintenance of commercial coffee machines while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, service and repair commercial coffee machines.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and software-related faults.
• Calibrate, programme and test coffee machines to ensure optimal performance and beverage quality.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine servicing.
• Respond to customer service call-outs within agreed SLA timeframes.
• Maintain accurate vehicle stock levels and submit stock orders when required.
• Complete job cards, stock records and service documentation accurately and on time.
• Conduct weekly vehicle inspections and maintain company tools and equipment.
• Provide professional customer service and build strong client relationships.
• Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness and workmanship at all times.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• N6 Electrical or Mechanical Diploma (advantageous).
• Proven experience servicing commercial coffee machines.
• Technical experience in refrigeration, electrical or mechanical maintenance.
• Valid South African driver's licence.
• Previous field service and customer service experience.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.

Working Conditions
