You will support the Restaurant General Manager daily, coach a team, manage scheduling, stock, and administration, while upholding brand standards and food safety. This role requires leadership, a hands-on approach, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 / Matric required.
• 2–3 years in supervisory or junior management roles in QSR/fast food, retail, or hospitality.
• Proven ability to lead teams and deliver customer service.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Restaurant General Manager in day-to-day store operations.
• Lead, motivate, and develop team members to perform at their best.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and memorable guest experiences.
• Assist with staff scheduling, stock control, and daily administration; drive sales.
• Maintain brand standards, cleanliness, and food safety requirements.
• Monitor operational performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Step in to manage the store in the absence of the Store Manager.

• Proven experience leading and managing teams
• Strong understanding of customer service principles
• Experience with stock control and cash handling
• Basic computer literacy and administrative skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
• Reliable transport to and from work
• A clear criminal record
• South African citizenship or a valid work permit
• A strong desire to build a long-term career in operations and progress into senior leadership roles
