Qualifications

• Matric is required.
• Diploma/qualification in Business Admin, Supply Chain, Marketing, Operations, or related field is advantageous.
• No formal sourcing or procurement experience required; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Source products, materials, and services based on business and client requirements.
• Obtain quotations from suppliers and compare pricing, lead times, and specifications.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Assist with supplier research and onboarding.
• Follow up on orders, deliveries, and supplier queries.
• Capture and maintain accurate information across internal systems and spreadsheets.
• Prepare quotations, reports, and sourcing documentation.
• Ensure supplier records and pricing information remain up to date.
• Manage filing, document control, and administrative processes.
• Assist the operations and production teams with day-to-day coordination tasks.
• Monitor order progress and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Help ensure projects and production schedules remain on track.
• Escalate any supply, pricing, or delivery concerns promptly.
• Conduct online research to identify suppliers, products, and industry trends.
• Compare supplier offerings and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Gather and organise information to support business decision-making.
