Busy Restaurant based in Sandton is looking for a young and eager Junior Restaurant Manager to oversee daily floor operations ; manage front- and back-of-house staff ; handle inventory ; and ensures guest satisfaction .

Duties:

• Oversee daily service openings and closings, monitor health and safety standards, and manage point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Supervise and motivate team members, handle shift scheduling, and conduct training or performance feedback.
• Track food and beverage stock, upload invoices, reconcile daily cash-ups, and manage supplier deliveries.
• Address guest inquiries, resolve complaints, and build relationships with regular patrons.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 A formal hospitality qualification
• At least 2+ years of experience as a restaurant supervisor, junior manager, or senior waiter in casual dining, hotels, or cafes.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, cash-handling accuracy, and leadership under pressure.
• Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and evening shifts.
