Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Urban Planning, or related field.
• 0-3 years of experience in real estate development, finance, investment analysis, or related field.
• Internship experience is highly valued.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to perform financial modeling in Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Argus or other real estate analysis software is a plus.
• Excellent research, data gathering, and report writing skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate within a team.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Nelspruit.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify development opportunities and assess market demand for various property types within Mpumalanga.
• Prepare detailed financial models and feasibility studies for new development projects, including pro forma income statements and cash flow projections.
• Assist in due diligence for land acquisitions, including title searches, zoning reviews, environmental assessments, and site evaluations.
• Analyze demographic and economic data to inform development strategies and site selection.
• Support negotiations of land acquisitions and partnerships with financial and market data.
• Monitor performance of existing projects and provide updates on key metrics.
• Collaborate with development teams, architects, engineers, and external consultants.
• Prepare investment proposals and presentations for senior management and investors.
• Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes in property development.
• Maintain and update project databases and financial tracking tools.
