Minimum Requirements:
- 1–3 years' experiencein a planning, project coordination or project administration role, preferably within theengineering, construction, mining or EPCM industry.
- Relevantqualification in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management or a related technical fieldwill be advantageous.
- Basic to intermediate proficiency inPrimavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
- Basic understanding ofproject planning, scheduling and project controls.
- Exposure toengineering, construction or multidisciplinary projectswill be advantageous.
- GoodMicrosoft Excelskills.
- Stronganalytical, organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately with project information.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to project sites when required.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist with thedevelopment and maintenance of project schedules.
- Update project programmes usingPrimavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
- Monitor project progress and report on schedule performance.
- Assist with identifyingdelays, schedule deviations and potential project risks.
- Assist with preparingshort-term and long-term project schedules.
- Support the Project Planner and Project Manager withcritical path and schedule analysis.
- Collect progress information from project teams and update project programmes accordingly.
- Assist with trackingproject milestones, deliverables and key deadlines.
- Assist with resource planning and monitoring oflabour, equipment and materials.
- Compileweekly and monthly project progress reports.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date planning and project control documentation.
- Attend project planning meetings and provide relevant scheduling information.
- Assist withforecasting and recovery planningwhere projects fall behind schedule.
- Liaise with Project Managers, Engineers, Site Teams and other stakeholders to obtain project progress updates.
- Assist with monitoring project performance against approved schedules.
- Ensure planning documentation is maintained in accordance with company and client requirements.
- Provide generalproject planning and project controls supportto the project team.
- Perform any additional planning and project support duties as required by Management.
