Job summary

Kendrick Recruitment seeks a motivated Junior Lodge Manager for a luxury safari lodge in the Balule Reserve. You will help run daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining high service standards.

Ideal candidates have supervisory experience in luxury hospitality, strong leadership and communication skills, and a hands-on approach to coordinating housekeeping, F&B and guest services to deliver a seamless safari experience.

Qualifications

• Supervisory or junior management experience in luxury lodge or safari camp.
• Understanding of guest relations and high service standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the day-to-day management and overall operations of the lodge.
• Ensure guests receive personalised service and an exceptional luxury safari experience.
• Support the management team in supervising, training and motivating lodge staff.
• Oversee front-of-house operations, including guest arrivals, departures and special requests.
• Assist with coordinating housekeeping, food and beverage service and general lodge activities.
• Conduct regular checks to ensure guest areas, rooms and facilities are maintained to the required standards.
• Handle guest queries, feedback and complaints professionally and efficiently.
• Assist with staff scheduling, daily briefings and operational planning.
