Responsibilities include maintaining luxury service standards, staff development, budgeting, and fostering strong guest relations while upholding health, safety and operational procedures. Salary is negotiable depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Previous Lodge Manager or senior lodge management experience in luxury safari or hospitality.
• Strong operational and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Hands-on approach and lead by example.
• Ability to work under pressure in a remote lodge environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the lodge, ensuring efficiency and professionalism.
• Maintain exceptional luxury service standards and exceed guest expectations.
• Lead, motivate and manage the lodge team and foster a professional environment.
• Monitor staff performance, training and development to maintain standards.
• Manage guest relations and handle queries with discretion.
• Collaborate with departmental heads for smooth communication across areas.
• Assist with stock control, budgeting, cost management and financial administration.
• Ensure lodge facilities and public areas are maintained to a high standard.
• Uphold health, safety, hygiene and operational procedures.
• Build relationships with guests to create personalized experiences.
• Support implementation of lodge policies and procedures.
• Assist management in achieving operational and guest satisfaction targets.
