TLT Resourcing Ltd, part of TLT LLP, is recruiting a Junior Legal Analyst to join the Cape Town team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will support investigations, document management, and client liaison.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, regulatory compliance, and collaboration across teams. You will handle files, create Excel analyses, and contribute to timely, accurate case work under supervision.

Responsabilidades

• Open files, conflict checks, organise documents and file management.

• Investigate debt recovery and liability when checklists are completed.
• Engage with customers, clients and third parties via phone, email and portals.
• Maintain case data with deadlines and SLA in a case management system.
• Support the team manager with assigned tasks.
• Manage volume workload including issuing claims for Judgment/Decree and enforcing orders.

We are recruiting for an experienced Junior Legal Analyst to join our team in Cape Town on a fixed-term contract for 12 months.

Your Role

As a Junior Legal Analyst, you will be responsible for the following;

• Opening files, conflict checking, organising documents including ongoing file management such as electronic filing, printing, scanning, closing.
• Creating and maintaining excel spreadsheets, databases, portals and graphic based analysis.
• Ordering and reviewing documents from the Land Registry.
• Billing and arranging for third parties to be paid.
• Pre-litigation to include issuing letter before claims, telephone calls, e-mails, instructing trace reports and taking payments from customers.
• Investigation work to include prospects of debt recovery and liability where checklists are completed.
• Engaging with customers, clients and third parties via telephone, email and portals.
• Working on a case management system ensuring accuracy of data, working with deadlines, key dates and working within SLA Working on a call system engaging with customers working within the FCA consumer duty framework.
• Supporting team manager on any assigned tasks.
• Manage a volume case load of matters working from a case management system to include issuing claims for Judgment/Decree, Statutory Demands and Enforcing Judgment/Decree.

Your Skills and Experience

• Experience in investigations and problem solving

• Ability to work in a strict regulatory environment
• Good communication skills (both oral and written)
• Accuracy, good organisational skills and flexibility
• Ability to work well as part of a busy team
• Good knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook is required and experience in PDF would be beneficial
