Job summary

TLT Resourcing Ltd, part of TLT LLP, is recruiting a Junior Legal Analyst to join the Cape Town team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will support investigations, document management, and client liaison.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, regulatory compliance, and collaboration across teams. You will handle files, create Excel analyses, and contribute to timely, accurate case work under supervision.

Qualifications

• Experience in investigations and problem solving.
• Experience of working within a volume caseload environment.
• Confident managing multiple cases simultaneously.
• Ability to work in a strict regulatory environment.
• Good communication skills (oral and written).
• Accuracy, good organisational skills and flexibility.
• Ability to work well as part of a busy team.
• Good knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook; PDF would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Open files, conflict checks, organise documents and file management.
• Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets, databases, portals and analyses.
• Review documents from the Land Registry.
• Billing and arranging third-party payments.
• Issue letters before claims and contact customers.
• Investigate debt recovery and liability when checklists are completed.
• Engage with customers, clients and third parties via phone, email and portals.
• Maintain case data with deadlines and SLA in a case management system.
• Support the team manager with assigned tasks.
• Manage volume workload including issuing claims for Judgment/Decree and enforcing orders.
