About the Role Our client, a growing conglomerate with diverse business interests, is seeking an enthusiastic and diligent Junior Legal Advisor specializing in Commercial Law to join their legal department in Soweto, Gauteng . This role is an excellent entry-level opportunity for a newly admitted attorney or a lawyer with 1-2 years of post-qualification experience looking to gain broad exposure to commercial legal matters. You will assist senior legal counsel in advising various business units on contract drafting, review, and negotiation, as well as ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This hybrid position offers a blend of in-office collaboration and remote work, providing a structured environment for learning and professional development. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, including service agreements, supply agreements, and NDAs.

• Support senior attorneys in managing litigation files and dispute resolution processes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant legislation across business operations.
• Maintain and organize legal documentation and contract registers.

Requirements
