Qualifications

• Admitted Attorney or LLB degree.
• 0-3 years post-admission or relevant legal experience, preferably in commercial or corporate law.
• Strong foundational knowledge of South African contract law and general commercial principles.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the drafting, review, and negotiation of commercial agreements under the guidance of senior legal counsel.
• Conduct legal research on various commercial law issues and prepare summaries and opinions.
• Support the legal team in ensuring compliance with relevant statutes and regulations.
• Manage and maintain legal files and documentation accurately.
• Liaise with internal departments to gather information and provide basic legal support.
