Job summary

INTX Insurance Software in Randburg is seeking a Junior IT Systems Engineer to support our internal technology stack and developer environments. You will gain hands-on exposure to Azure-based infrastructure while helping secure and optimize our cloud-first operations.

The role emphasizes foundational systems administration, endpoint management with Intune, and collaboration with engineering and infrastructure teams in a fast-paced fintech startup environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of IT support or systems administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft 365.
• Basic networking concepts (IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to internal staff including engineers, product teams and management.
• Configure, deploy, and maintain laptops and endpoint devices using Microsoft Intune.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and identity across Azure AD and Microsoft 365.
• Assist in maintaining secure access to internal systems and development environments.
• Support troubleshooting across Azure-hosted applications and DevOps tooling.
• Assist with Azure infrastructure tasks including App Services, SQL Databases, and networking.
• Support VPN access and firewall configurations.
• Contribute to internal IT projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

As a Junior IT Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our internal systems and developer environments.
