Job summary

CSI3 seeks an accomplished Technical Consultant to help clients from pre-sales through full implementation of industrial software and OT solutions. You will participate in discovery, configuration, testing, deployment, training and post go-live support for new and existing customers.

The role reports to the Senior Technical Consultant/Team Lead and requires strong problem-solving, independent work style, and collaborative skills across professional services teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have Grade 12 and a technical degree or diploma in computer science or information systems.
• Experience in industrial control systems and OT environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement technical specifications
• Understand functional specifications
• Develop and implement Program Objects
• Perform unit testing
• Support other forms of testing
• Support functional consultants in designing solutions for gaps identified
• Have a solid grasp of the problem to choose appropriate software and hardware
• Make modifications to get hardware and software to work together
• Conduct tests to verify that plans are working correctly
• Do the necessary setup for the customer and resolve any issues
• Design manuals for employees and train them to use new technology
• Troubleshoot unexpected problems over time
• Manage the activities of the implementation and support team and strive for customer satisfaction
• Deploy, configure and support solutions to meet customer requirements
• Provide integration support including interfaces setup, testing and troubleshooting
• Perform technical training and transfer knowledge to customer admins
• Attend internal project meetings and provide status updates
• Work on special projects to increase efficiencies in implementations
• Participate in system training and learn all aspects of system functionality
• Adhere to health, safety, environmental, and quality policies
