Job summary

Trending Talent Solutions is seeking a Junior Implementation & Business Analyst to support systems implementations, document processes, and assist with configuration under guidance.

You will work with senior analysts, implementers, developers and stakeholders to improve operations, document requirements, and participate in testing and QA within a collaborative, learning-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level 4 qualification.
• Preferred: Diploma or Degree in Business Analysis, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Management, or related field; relevant certifications advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist with gathering and documenting business requirements.

The Junior Implementation & Business Analyst supports the implementation of systems, processes, and client solutions while gaining practical experience in business analysis and project delivery. This role works closely with senior analysts, implementation teams, developers, and business stakeholders to understand the business requirements, document processes, assist with system configuration, and provide support during implementations.

The successful candidate will contribute to improving business operations by analysing information, supporting testing activities, maintaining documentation, and assisting with issue resolution.

QUALIFICATIONS

EXPERIENCE

• 2 years' experience in a Business Analysis, Implementation, IT Support, Project Coordination, or related role.
• Exposure to customer service, systems support, or process improvement environments will be advantageous.
• Experience working with CRM, ERP, or business systems.
• Basic understanding of data management and reporting tools.
• Exposure to Agile or project-based environments.

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
• Ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly.
• Basic understanding of business processes and workflows.

• Basic understanding of Business Analysis principles and methodologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Analysis Support

• Assist with gathering and documenting business requirements.
• Participate in stakeholder meetings and workshops.
• Support senior analysts in analyzing business processes and identifying improvement opportunities.
• Assist with creating process maps, workflows, and functional documentation.
• Maintain accurate project and requirements documentation.

Implementation Support

• Assist with the implementation of new systems, processes, and enhancements.
• Support system configuration and setup activities under guidance.
• Help coordinate implementation tasks and track progress.
• Assist with data validation and migration activities.
• Monitor implementation activities and escalates issues where necessary.

Testing and Quality Assurance

• Assist in developing test scenarios and test cases.
• Participate in system and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Capture testing results and log defects.
• Work with stakeholders to ensure requirements are met before deployment.

Stakeholder and User Support

• Communicate project updates and implementation progress to stakeholders.
• Build positive working relationships across business and technical teams
