Job summary

AES Global, an established manufacturing business in Johannesburg, is seeking a Junior HR Officer / Junior Talent Specialist to provide operational and administrative support across the full employee lifecycle.

Working closely with the HR Manager, you’ll assist with recruitment, onboarding, HR administration, performance management and reporting, while keeping HR processes running efficiently and compliantly in a multilingual workplace.

Qualifications

• A degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Psychology or related field.
• 2–3 years’ experience in HR with full lifecycle management.
• Understanding of South African labour legislation and HR administration.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end recruitment administration.
• Manage onboarding and offboarding with IT and Finance.
• Maintain the HRIS and accurate employee records.
• Coordinate the performance-management cycle.
• Provide admin support for employee relations (disciplinary, grievance, CCMA).
• Coordinate training and development, and prepare payroll input.
• Prepare standard HR reports and support HR audits.
