Job summary

Brandtech+ is seeking a Junior People Administrator to support the HR Business Partnering team in delivering high-quality service to employees and stakeholders across the South African market. This role offers growth within a growing, international HR team and exposure to a broad range of HR activities.

You will handle employee lifecycle documentation, onboarding, benefits administration, and HR data management using Sage, Peakon, and Insiders Academy, while ensuring compliance and timely

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in a professional HR support role.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication (written and verbal) skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize work and manage customer services across multiple clients/departments.
• Keen attention to detail in the execution of all work.
• Proactive approach to tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excel proficiency and exposure to HRIS.

Responsibilities

• Creation of employee lifecycle documentation including offer letters, contracts, variations, and termination letters.
• Assist in employee/industrial relations documentation (absences, performance, disciplinary actions, grievances).
• Maintain HR records in Sage, Peakon, and Insiders Academy with changes and filing.
• Onboard new starters, prepare HR documents, assist with induction and background/reference checks.
• Administer employee benefits and ensure correct enrollment.
• Support managers with HR queries and liaise with People Partner when needed.
• Manage HR inbox and respond within SLA timelines.
• Support performance appraisal processes and day-to-day policy guidance.
• Understand local employment law and best practices; reflect in day-to-day support.
• Assist with Safer Recruitment (references, Right to Work, Data Protection).
• Contribute to process improvements and ad-hoc HR projects.
• Coordinate with payroll and finance on people-related issues.
