Helderberg Personnel in the Western Cape is seeking an experienced finance professional to oversee day-to-day financial administration, reporting and compliance. You will coordinate cash flow, budgeting, payroll, and statutory returns, supporting management decision-making and the company’s financial performance.

The role emphasizes accuracy, controls and timely financial information, including VAT/EMP, and SARS e-filing processes, while maintaining asset registers and supporting external audits.

Mansioni

• Manage daily financial administration, including cashbook, petty cash, bank and debtor reconciliations
• Oversee creditor reconciliations, supplier payments, credit notes and monthly payment schedules
• Prepare journal entries, trial balances and monthly management accounts
• Compile financial reports, expense comparisons and financial analysis
• Monitor cash flow, receipts and payments, identifying opportunities for cost control
• Manage foreign currency sales invoices, forex bank reconciliations and reporting
• Coordinate monthly payroll, salary schedules and related administration
• Prepare and submit EMP201 and VAT201 reconciliations and returns via SARS e-filing
• Manage bi-annual IRP5 submissions and assist with other statutory and regulatory compliance requirements
• Maintain fixed asset registers and oversee annual stocktakes and audit verification
• Prepare financial documentation and schedules for annual audits and liaise with external auditors
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
• Provide financial guidance and support to the Directors
• Assist with HR-related administration and compliance, including EE, BBBEE, POPIA and relevant SETA/W&RSETA submissions
