Job summary

JVR Software is seeking a qualified accountant with SAIPA/SAICA articles to join our Centurion team. You will handle general ledger, reconciliations, VAT, PAYE and statutory returns, and assist with budgets and audits.

The ideal candidate has a BCom in Accounting, proficiency in Sage, Pastel, Sage VIP or CaseWare, strong Excel, IFRS and tax knowledge, and fluency in Afrikaans and English.

Qualifications

• BCom in Accounting.
• SAIPA/SAICA Articles completed.
• Recently completed articles.

Responsibilities

• Process daily and monthly transactions including journal entries and general ledger maintenance.
• Prepare and review reconciliations for bank, supplier, customer and intercompany accounts.
• Submit VAT, EMP201, provisional tax and other SARS/statutory returns on time.
