Job summary

Network Finance in South Africa seeks a CA(SA) with Big 4 articles to lead financial reporting and controls within a fast-paced fintech environment. The role focuses on ensuring accurate monthly reporting and robust financial controls while engaging with stakeholders at all levels.

You will drive budgeting, forecasting, and strategic analyses, partnering with senior leadership to support decision-making and growth initiatives in a dynamic, technology-driven setting.

Qualifications

• CA(SA) with completed articles at a Big 4 firm.
• 1 to 3 years post-articles experience in financial services/fintech.
• Strong IFRS and US GAAP knowledge with solid reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts.
• Assist with annual financial statements and statutory reporting.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Drive improvements in financial controls and reporting efficiencies.
• Analyse financial performance and provide commercial insights.
• Partner with operational and executive stakeholders across the business.
• Assist with audit, tax, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Support strategic projects and business growth initiatives.

The successful candidate will play a key role in financial reporting, controls, stakeholder engagement, commercial finance initiatives, and supporting strategic decision-making within a fast-paced fintech environment.

Minimum Requirements

• Qualified CA(SA)
• Completed articles with a Big 4 audit firm
• 1 to 3 years post-articles experience
• Strong exposure to financial services, fintech, banking, payments, investment management, lending, or digital finance clients during articles
• Advanced knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP and financial reporting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience working with large data sets and financial modelling
