Responsible For
Commercial
- Oversee and negotiate Master Service Agreements, focusing on commercial terms.
- Partner with the Project Management Office (PMO) to oversee all Work Orders.
- Perform project-level actual vs. projected income scenario analyses and track financial viability.
- Develop objectives-based system and process enhancements to optimize business profitability.
- Manage online financial management software in-house.
- Collate, prepare, and interpret financial reports, budgets, accounts, and statements.
- Conduct strategic analysis to assist executive management with long-term planning.
- Oversee disbursements, including invoice and expense payments.
- Transfer and reconcile data between the timekeeping system and the financial system for invoicing.
- Manage the debtors' book and employee benefit schemes.
- Perform weekly profitability analyses and track budget vs. actuals for revenue and expenses.
- Inspect accounting books and systems to ensure accuracy, compliance with relevant laws and tax regulations, and prompt tax return filings and payments.
- Maintain organized financial records, drive business efficiency, and recommend best practices to leadership.
Accounting Functions
- Prepare month-end journals, including fixed assets, prepayments, and income/expense accruals.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations, including VAT returns, PAYE, and statutory tax requirements.
- Own the monthly management reporting pack and assist finance leadership with variance analysis.
- Take responsibility for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages.
- Coordinate with operations teams to ensure correct transaction allocations and issue accurate client invoices.
- Reconcile debtors and creditors, prepare detailed cash flow budgets and forecasts, and support annual financial audits.
