Job summary

MECS Africa is seeking a skilled finance professional to own daily financial operations using Xero and to drive accurate reporting. You will manage debtors and creditors, perform reconciliations, and contribute to month-end close.

In addition, you will assist with VAT compliance, monitor cash flow, and provide insights to support pricing, profitability decisions and business strategy. Salesforce and digital platforms will enhance reporting visibility.

Qualifications

• BCom Accounting or an equivalent accounting-related qualification.
• Solid practical accounting and financial management experience.
• Strong, hands-on experience with Xero is essential.
• Salesforce experience is essential.
• Strong financial analytical and reporting capabilities.
• Good understanding of debtors, creditors, reconciliations, VAT and month-end processes.
• Strong digital and technology capabilities, with an interest in automation and AI.
