Placements24 is seeking a junior electrical engineer to join their renewable energy division in Stellenbosch. This entry-level role offers design, development, and implementation tasks for solar and other renewables, with office design and potential site visits.

You will work under the guidance of senior engineers, perform load calculations, prepare documentation, and contribute to project reports while gaining exposure to cutting-edge renewable energy technologies through a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Strong fundamentals in electrical principles.
• Familiarity with renewable energy systems, particularly solar PV, is advantageous.
• Proficiency with CAD tools, PVsyst & MATLAB.

Responsibilities
