DP World in Johannesburg seeks a Sales Operations Analyst to support CRM, automate reporting, and ensure data quality for the Africa Logistics Commercial team.

The role provides hands-on analytical and admin support to move from reactive to proactive, enabling data-driven decisions by the CCO and stakeholders. You will also assist with pipeline analysis and governance across the opportunity lifecycle.

Competenze

• 1–3 years' relevant experience in a sales operations, CRM administration, commercial reporting, or business analyst role.
• Exposure to CRM systems (Salesforce, Oracle Sales Cloud, or similar).
• Experience with pipeline, forecasting, or commercial performance data.
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data modelling) and reporting tooling familiarity.

The Sales Operations Analyst exists to enable sales by supporting the CRM system, commercial reporting, and data quality processes that underpin the Africa Logistics Commercial team's ability to win, retain, and grow revenue. The role provides hands-on analytical and administrative support to the Sales Operations team, helping the department transition from a reactive reporting model to a proactive, insight-driven sales enablement function. The Analyst will play a key role in maintaining CRM data integrity, producing accurate business reporting, and supporting continuous improvement of the opportunity lifecycle — directly contributing to the CCO's ability to make confident, data-backed commercial decisions.

Key performance areas:

CRM Data Support & Hygiene

• Monitor CRM data quality (missing fields, blank probabilities, duplicate records, missing start/close dates) and support remediation with capability teams.
• Assist with data audits and flag governance risks to the Senior Manager: Sales Operations/ Senior Consultant: Commercial.

Business Reporting & Dashboards

• Produce and maintain recurring commercial reports (pipeline, forecast, win/loss, flash reporting) accurately and on time.
• Support formalisation of reporting cadences and KPI packs for stakeholders, including CCO-facing outputs.
• Conduct pipeline analysis (by division, probability band, owner, account) to support forecast accuracy and Blue Sky reporting.
• Support probability-weighted forecast modelling and scenario analysis (best/base/worst case).

CRM Super User & Adoption Support

• Support the CRM super user network with training, troubleshooting, and adoption feedback
• Escalate systemic user behaviour issues (e.g. probability/date manipulation) affecting data integrity.
• Support process definition and stage-gate governance work across the opportunity lifecycle.
• Contribute to CI initiatives improving the customer journey and internal commercial processes.

Ad Hoc Commercial Analysis

• Provide analytical support for budget setting, commercial effectiveness measurement, and strategic initiatives as required by the Senior Manager: Sales Operations or wider department.

Qualifications required:

• Relevant tertiary qualification (Commerce, Business, Data/Analytics, Supply Chain, or related field) preferred Experience

Skills and experience required:

• 1–3 years' relevant experience in a sales operations, CRM administration, commercial reporting, or business analyst role
• Exposure to CRM systems (Salesforce, Oracle Sales Cloud, or similar); logistics/freight/supply chain sector experience advantageous but not essential
• Experience working with pipeline, forecasting, or commercial performance data Skills
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data modelling); familiarity with Power BI or similar reporting tools advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy, with a governance mindset
• Analytical thinking with the ability to translate data into clear commercial insight
• Good written communication skills for reporting summaries and stakeholder updates
