Job summary

Jendamark Automation Pty seeks a development-focused BD Lead based in Port Elizabeth (Gqeberha). You will learn the BBEE compliance funding landscape, client engagement, and qualification processes, with coaching to grow into an independent specialist over 1–3 years.

This is not a commission role; it offers mentorship, structured growth, and a clear path to owning the corporate development channel as the business scales.

Qualifications

• Port Elizabeth / Gqeberha-based — non-negotiable
• 1 to 3 years of work experience in any role — sector is irrelevant
• Clear and confident communicator, on a call and in writing
• Organised — you follow through without needing to be chased

Responsibilities

• Sit in on and conduct discovery calls with corporate leads, with coaching and debrief after each one
• Learn how to qualify a prospect — identifying which companies have live spend intent and which do not
• Build working knowledge of the B-BBEE legislative and funding environment
• Maintain an accurate pipeline of contacts and conversations
• Support in-person client engagement in Port Elizabeth and occasionally elsewhere
