Odin is seeking a Business Development Lead to engage corporate decision-makers and direct funding into education solutions. You will have intelligent conversations, identify readiness to move, and become the expert in the room with coaching from the BD Lead.
Based in Johannesburg, you will build a rapid-moving pipeline, attend in-person meetings as required, and surface new opportunities while shaping the growth of Odin's education solutions in South Africa.
Odin is building the future of education in South Africa - connecting forward-thinking corporates with high-impact education solutions and growing a rapidly expanding client base. Our aim is to triple that base within two years. Our compliance funding vertical is the engine driving that growth, and this role is at its centre.
You will engage corporate decision-makers and introduce them to an opportunity that is changing how forward-thinking companies deploy their B-BBEE investment - directing compliance funding into education solutions that drive genuine change.
Your job is to have intelligent conversations, understand where each company is in their thinking, and identify who is ready to move.
You do not need to know this sector before you start. The BD Lead will coach and immerse you from day one. What you do need is commercial instinct, genuine curiosity, and the drive to become the expert in the room.
We are not looking for a sector specialist. We are looking for the right person. Sector and product knowledge is learnable - the right attitude and commercial wiring are not.
This role suits someone who:
Preference will be given to employees from the designated groups in line with the provisions of the Employment Equity Act, No. 55 of 1998
